HBO Max is developing a reality competition show inspired by the movie “Magic Mike”. It’s called “The Real Magic Mike”, and it’ll feature 10 men who have “lost their magic.” They will, “bare their souls, and more, as they evolve their bodies, learn to perform spectacular routines, and develop a new level of self-confidence. As they strip…they’ll rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo.” They’re competing for a cash prize and a chance to perform at the “Magic Mike Live” stage show in Las Vegas. Channing Tatum is onboard as a producer.
Paramount Pictures has pushed back the release date of the Tom Cruise movie “Top Gun: Maverick” . . . again, this time from July to November 19. That move deprives theaters of what was expected to be one of the biggest releases of the summer blockbuster season.

The show is going to be based on Barris’ 1984 memoir ”Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind.” Barris claims hosting “The Gong Show”, “The Dating Game” and “The Newlywed Game” was just a cover for his real job as a CIA assassin.
